We aim to offer the opportunity for as many young people as possible to get involved in Scouting in the Leamington Spa area. We currently offer Scouting to all young people aged 8-18 years old but have ambitions to expand this to include young people aged 6-8 years old.

Opening a Beaver Colony at 12^th Leamington (Holy Trinity) Scout Group has been an objective for the Group for many years. We believe we are now in the best position to make this happen!

To turn this ambition into a reality, we are looking for 5 volunteers to form a new Beaver Leadership Team to help run weekly meetings and other adventurous activities for 6–8-year-olds. We feel 5 volunteers is a minimum requirement to ensure that we have a strong team of volunteers who can support each other in running a successful Beaver Colony.

So, what does it mean to volunteer as part of the Beaver Leadership Team?

The Section Team plans, delivers, and runs quality programmes safely. They make sure all young people can take part in the programme, gain skills for life, and work towards their Top Awards.  With a brilliant programme, each young person can make a positive impact on society as they step up, speak up, and find their place in the world. No previous experience is required. We have a fantastic team of volunteers who will help you gain the skills required. In addition, volunteers aren’t expected to be able to help every week; volunteering has become more flexible than ever before.
