Beavers

Beavers

Beavers is open to all young people aged 6-8 years. They enjoy learning new skills, taking part in adventurous activities, having fun whilst making new friends.

What do Beavers get up to?

Being a Beaver is all about growing and learning in small but mighty ways.  Going to Beavers is very different from going to school. Instead of learning from books, you’ll figure the world out by exploring, playing and doing.

Beavers learn important skills for life, helping them to stand on their own two feet. We call these character skills. They include things like integrity and initiative. It’s all about having the courage to try new things and learn from them.

Beavers work as a team to help other people, in the local community and beyond.

Who leads Beaver’s

Beavers are led by a team of adult Beaver Leaders and helpers.

We currently are still looking for additional helpers to support our team of Beaver Leaders within the Group. Being a volunteer is not just about giving back, it goes both ways. It improves your wellbeing, give you skills for the future and helps you make new friends and memories.

You don’t need to be Bear Gryll’s to get involved. Full training and support is provided. Get in touch via our join page to register your interest.
